Tiny Terra Spaces

This is a small game prototype that I created as a solo developer for the GameDev TV Game Jam 2025.

It’s a cosy building game set on a tiny island. Manage your resources and continue building until you’ve filled up your island. Enjoy the calming music and relax as you build your own tiny world.

In line with the game jam’s rules, I’ve only used free asset packs to begin with, including:

• Pixel Art Farm Tools (for cursor art)

• Hypoly – Isometric Tiles Standard Lite

I’ve also started creating my own assets as well to go with the assets I am using for free.

Theme for the game jam: Tiny World

In my game, you start on a very small, tiny island or world. You continue building a cozy place until you've filled all the space. It's a cozy builder where you create your own tiny, terra-cosy spaces.

Controls:

Mouse only - simply click on the UI select the building you wish to place down. Some require you to cut the grass first before placing buildings down.

Resource management: 

There is some resource management involved, in the sense that all buildings have a cost. However, I designed it so that, over time, your money increases. After all, it’s meant to be a cosy game — no stress required. All you need to do is keep building enough houses and farm fields, and your money should continue to grow. If you get stuck, simply restart and try again.
