About the Project:

Rusty Hammer is a casual idle clicker game where players take over a blacksmith shop and invest their hard-earned gold to improve and grow it into a thriving business. Can you turn it into the finest blacksmith’s in the Kingdom of Dobroja?

Story of the Game:

Welcome to the Rusty Hammer, a blacksmith shop made famous in the city of Warlington! But it wasn’t always this renowned. The story begins with Ricker, the first NPC players meet in Rise of the Village Hero, who provides the game’s tutorial dialogue. Ricker had long dreamed of opening his own blacksmith shop, so he took a leap and bought an old, dilapidated inn overrun by brigands and infested with rats.

Despite these challenges, Ricker was determined to transform this run-down place into his dream shop. With only worn tools and barely a bench to sit on, he began his journey to build the Rusty Hammer.

Project Plans:

Thank you for downloading Rusty Hammer or even for visiting this page! Here’s what’s in store for the project. My hope is to gather a community who will follow my journey and see the Rusty Hammer come to life. I have a feedback form inside the game so if you wish to give me feedback and shape the game all you have to do is press F12 and I will look to use all constructive feedback to make the game as good as I can.

The game is currently in early alpha (version 0.1), offering roughly 5-10 minutes of gameplay. You’ll find three upgrade tiers, a working UI, and a pause UI with a quit function. My aim is to continue releasing updates with more upgrades, additional tiers, and enhancements to create a richer gaming experience.

I’m also working on creating more of the in-game assets, such as new hammers and props, to add personality and depth to the blacksmith shop.
