Romanian Space Commandos (RSC)

About the Game:

I created Romanian Space Commandos during my third year at university as part of an extra module in Level Design. It’s a small top-down strategy game where I applied what I learned from RTS courses.

I really enjoyed making this project, as it significantly improved my coding skills. I also received help with level design from my colleague Will (TwistedRabbit).

Controls:

WASD – Camera control

Q/E – Rotate

Left Mouse Button – Select units and move them by clicking on the grid

This is my first top-down strategy game, so I hope you enjoy it!

What’s happened since I made this project:

In June this year, I graduated from the University of the West of Scotland with a degree in Computer Games Development. Achieving this degree was a long-term dream of mine. Another dream I had was to become a solo game developer, and I’m proud to say that I have. In November 2023, I founded my own studio, Ludus Pax Studios.

My first commercial game is called Rise of the Village Hero! It is a small indie RPG where players take control of the reluctant hero
